The orange and red colors glowed that evening that I passed by them. The sunset beaming through with bright rays of blue and purple. A silhouette of a beautifully arranged creation.

Some dread the word when they hear it, some worry, and some don’t ever move on. Others will avoid it if possible, and those that do tend to lag behind or miss what God had for them at that time. I’ve heard it said that delayed obedience is still disobedience.

As the branches begin to lose their leaves of bright variations, and floral displays begin to fade away. There’s an anticipation for the new phase of life.

“…whose delight is in the law of The Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water…

I was one of those. The one who was afraid to trust the creator of the universe with my next step because of my fear of the unknown. Though he had proven himself many times before I still was anxious. Making my spirit the captain over my flesh. He may not reveal the next season till two weeks before you take the next step, but don’t panic. It will be alright, I promise! I have learned that I don’t need to be anxious or afraid. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7. God has you in the palm of His hand and he longs to bless you.

…which yields it’s fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:2-3

There it is, he promises that you will yield fruit in season. You may not see the harvest right now or in the next season. But when you meditate on the word and plant it into others by encouraging them, you will yield the fruit.

The season may seem dry and cold, but spring is coming. Life is coming. A new wave of his love and blessings are coming.

The silhouette of a beautifully arranged creation though appearing lifeless in the dry winter air, was showered with the promise of a new season. The sunlight beaming through the tall trunks. As they worship The Lord, the streams of water flow beneath with a joyful melody.

It is unavoidable, though enjoyable. Perspective affects it all. He is “doing a new thing! Now it springs up..” Isaiah 43:18-19

As you grow taller in the word and build yourself up, you’ll begin to see the bigger picture from a higher view. Understanding that the season you’re in all fits into what God has planned!

Learn to rest in his presence and soak up all the sunlight beaming through your branches. He is there always, even in the dry and cold seasons.
